Ligeia is a four piece hardcore/metal/rock band from western Massachusetts formed in the miserable New England winter months of 2003 by members Keith Holuk and Ryan Ober. Over the years, the band has recruited countless others to fill in on bass and drums in order to stay on the road more often than not. The band has even spent some years playing over 300 shows within the 365 day timeframe. This "no mercy" approach has not only helped the band become relevant, but also stay relevant, almost a full decade later.

The group has released 2 records on the reputable Ferret Music; 'Your Ghost is a Gift' (recorded 2005, released 2006) and 'Bad News' (2008) while raising hell in more countries than most will ever get to see in their lifetime. Even after pulling stunts in Europe on multiple occasions, Central America, trecking Canada from east to west and lapping the United States over and over they still aren't done. Back after a 2 year break, Ligeia is ready to rock every city, town and village in promotion of their 3rd release 'Welcome to Palm City.' This EP is a completely free release put out by the band themselves in order to give back to the fans that have given them so much. The EP will be available for download via LigeiaMusic.com.
